You just have to look at a satellite view of New Ash Green to see that the village is surrounded by trees. Woodland species are likely to be seen or heard when you are out and about. Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, Foxes even Fallow Deer. The woodlands group is responsible for managing and maintaining some aspects of our woodland.
