The Woodlands Group relies on volunteers to manage the Meadow, the Orchard, woodlands and our wildflower verges. We are very grateful to those who give up a few hours of their time every now and then to help as many hands make light work.

 

We need enthusiastic volunteers. Why not join us for a work day. You'll meet some very interesting people and you'll be getting fresh air and exercise without going to the gym!. You'll also learn about managing our wild areas and also about our local flora and fauna. Our sessions are usually about 3 hours long. 10am to 1pm is typical, with a tea break in the middle. Do as much or as little as you like or just come along to observe. We'd be grateful to see you.
